Trinity Youth
The Trinity Youth, grades 6 - 12, meet every Wednesday
night from 6:30 to 8:15. Under the leadership and guidance of Stormie
Bryant, the youth enjoy a meal together, play games, put on skits,
watch movies, and participate in an informal Bible study. Driven by
students and fueled by their creativity and relevance, this group focuses
on different issues that speak to the life of high school and junior
high students. Sr. High EYC grades 9-12 still meet on Wednesday night at the same time. Jr. High EYC grades 6-8 meet Sunday's from 12:30-2pm. The Trinity youth also help with the Rotation program
on Sunday morning and are in the process of designing a Children's
Chapel which will be held during the 11:00 service. For more information
about this group, email Stormie.
Happening/ YES - Stormie Bryant
A Happening is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that encourages participation
in one’s own parish and youth group. The Happening Movement is a powerful
instrument of renewal in the Church. It’s purpose is to concentrate
closely on the person and teaching of Jesus Christ. Our faith is
seriously examined in a relaxed, fun, informal and loving atmosphere.
Happening is for grades 10-12 and YES (Youth Encountering Sprit) is for grades 7-9. The Happening
weekend is an experience that gives those who attend the desire
to understand and serve God through his Church. Learn more by calling
Stormie or checking out the Happening
in Texas web site.

5 years - Fifth grade
Each Sunday your child can be a part of an exciting
and
active environment filled with songs, games, and stories
that teach Godly values at an age-appropriate
level.
Our children's Sunday School meets at the same time as adult classes
and are designed for all children from Kindergarten through Fifth grade.
So while you are
experiencing the creative, life-changing worship of Trinity church,
your children are experiencing it as well.
The Workshop
Rotation Model, affectionately known as WORM,
is used at Trinity for our young children. From the Rotation web site,
here's the Workshop Rotation Model in a nutshell: Teach major Bible
stories and concepts through kid-friendly multimedia workshops: an
Art
workshop,
Drama, Music, Games, A-V, Puppets, Storytelling, Computers,
and any
other educational media you can get your hands on. Teach the same
Bible
story
in all of the workshops for four or five weeks rotating the kids
to a different workshop each week. And here comes the extremely teacher
friendly part:
Keep the same teacher in each workshop for all five weeks -teaching
the same lesson week after week (with some age appropriate adjustments)
to
each new class coming in. The results, says Linda Beckham, D.C.E.
at Tampa's Palma Ceia Church are astounding. "The kids love it, the
teachers love it, and we can't ever imagine going back to the old
way."
Growing in God's Garden is
the theme for Trinity's program.
The Sunday school room is being transformed. There are spaces being
defined for art and crafts, storytelling and drama, as well as music
and video. In the Garden this fall, kids will hear stories from the
Book of Genesis including the Creation story and Noah and the Ark told
in
a variety of media. Come join the fun and hear the awesome story
of God's amazing creation. Class begins at 10:20 each Sunday morning.
