The Reverend Nick Novak, Rector
The Reverend Nick Novak serves as rector
at Trinity Episcopal Church. Father Nick came to Trinity in August 2001.
He graduated
from Deer Park High School in 1969. Two years later on May 9, 1971, he
married Pamela. In 1984 he graduated from the University of Houston,
Clear Lake, and in 1991 he graduated from Trinity Episcopal School for
Ministry, Ambridge, PA. He has worked at St. Paul's Episcopal Church
in Woodville, and St. Mark's Episcopal

Rev. Micki Rios, Deacon
Micki has been serving as deacon at Trinity Episcopal Church since ordination in February 2008; however, she and her husband James (music leader at the contemporary service), have been members of Trinity for the last 26 years. Micki graduated from Robert.E. Lee High School, University of Houston Clear Lake (Education) and the IONA School of Ministry in the Diocese of Texas, and God only knows what school will be next! Micki's job in the secular world is Family Involvement Coordinator at Horace Mann Jr. School in Baytown.
Kathy Villemez, Parish Secretary
Kathy serves Trinity Episcopal Church
not only as our Parish secretary, but as our extraordinary coordinator
of prayer requests. Trinity has a tremendous group of prayer warriors--Christians
believing in the power of prayer and dedicated to praying for your needs!
Kathy, in spite of all her other responsbilities, finds time to keep
all the prayer warriors apprised of prayer requests
and other spiritual needs of our congregation and our extended family

Robin Dunn,
Organist and Choirmaster
Robin has been serving Houston area churches
as organist/director for the past 20 years. She came to Trinity in October
2003 where she conducts the chancel and handbell choirs. Robin earned
her Bachelors Degree with a certification to teach music, English and
history
from the University of Houston . She is currently pursuing
her Master of Music Degree in organ performance from the Moores School of Music
.
In addition to her duties as organist,
she is also the music teacher at Golden Acres Elementary School in Pasadena,
Tx. Robin is a member of many organizations including past president
of the Gulf Coast Orff Association, the American Guild of Organists,
the American Guild of English
Handbell
Ringers, Texas Music Educators Association and the Texas Choral Directors Association.
Robin and her husband Randy, also a professional musician, enjoy a quiet
life
in Pasadena, with their doc CD ('Church Dog').
Billie Hutson, Financial Secretary
Billie oversees the bookkeeping operations
at Trinity Church. She keeps records of our financial transactions, is
appointed by and accountable to the Rector, serving at the Rector's pleasure,
and supports and extends the ministry of the Rector and Vestry as manager
of financial and pastoral information and as assistant for administrative
tasks as assigned. Billie is a member of Trinity's support
staff, whose mission is to support the ministries of Trinity's
professional ministry team and lay leaders. Billie keeps us all straight
and always has a smile to share.
The Rev. Joseph Spitler, Associate Rector Emeritus
The Rev. Joseph Spitler was the Associate Rector at Trinity for 5 years after serving at Saint John Church, Columbus, Texas as Rector for 15 years. He was the registrar for Cursillo for the Diocese of Texas for 8 years and Diocesan Spiritual Director for Cursillo for 6 years. Fr Joseph graduated from Virginia Theological Seminary, Alexandria in 1982 and went on to serve at Saint James Church, Conroe, and Saint Timothy Church, Lake Jackson. He led summer camps for 3rd and 4th graders at Camp Allen for a number of years and was also the Spiritual Director for Happening for the Diocese.
