If you know of someone that still has housing damage/repair issues as a result of Hurricane Ike, Harris County is seeking applications to assist.

There is a case worker at the Baytown Community Center, 2407 Market Street, every Wednesday from 1-5 p.m. to answer questions and help with the application process.

Nearly 70 households from Baytown have applied and are going through the process.  The program is no longer restricted to low-income households.  Further, if someone had ANY hurricane damage, whether repaired or not, their home may be eligible.

There’s a link on the City of Baytown’s website or go directly to www.harrisrecovery.org
